We had a pretty mellow Easter this year. We dyed eggs at about 9:30 on Saturday night and the Easter bunny visited us first thing in the morning. The easter bunny brought all kinds of things that Dad wasn't too happy about. Crayons, play dough, gum.. The easter bunny was pretty naughty this year! The kids (well the boys)had a blast hunting eggs and finding their baskets. Brynn was mostly concerned with how much chocolate she could possible consume in one day. Typical women! Paxton came down buck naked and it took some convincing to get him to put on a diaper. He was very into his basket and he took some 'warming up' before he would join his brother in the egg hunt. (We hid 44 eggs this year!) Ethan was pretty good about leaving the 'easy' ones for Packy and only finding the hard ones! Paxton wasn't all that interested anyways, I think he only found about 10 and we had to point to most of them for him. He really was more interested in the candy and toys. After all the morning excitement we just lounged around and waited for Grandma and Stef to come over for Dinner! We had ham and scalloped potatoes, thanks to my mom. Oh, and she made a root vegetables salad that wasn't the biggest hit of dinner!! I didn't mind it, which Joe will tell you isn't really a compliment! I made some deviled eggs and that's about it, we ate, talked and went on with our lives! Here are some pics that I like!
Brynn went straight for the chocolate, she wasted no time!
And dove right in and wasn't afraid to show off her chocolate-E teeth!
Here's one of Ethan, being very excited about his play dough.
Paxton was also a fan of the chocolate!I love how he has lined all of his stuff that was in is basket in a nice OCD fashion on the floor! Love the transformer tattoos on the belly dude!
Here he is finding his first egg!
