Up and running!

So it was just a power supply. Yes it took us a long time to get one, but once we finally did, it did the trick. So I thought I would post a little quick thing to welcome myself back! Since I have been balancing my checkbook and paying my bills for the last three hours, I am not exactly in 'catch up the blog' mode! This is something I wanted to post at the beginning of October.

I got my very own coffee maker! I am so excited. Kyle hates coffee, the smell, the taste, the idea, everything to do with coffee. So I have never bought one because it wasn't that big of deal to me. Well when I started working nights, I started spending WAY too much money on coffee. I had to take the plung and start making my own coffee. I feel bad for Kyle, but the sound of 40 cents a day compared to 4 dollars a day, helps him deal! The kids love it. They help me make coffee and Brynn and Paxton have to smell the grounds every time I open them! I have to make them kid coffee, which is chocolate milk with a little bit of coconut milk in it! They love it, and we just sit around and drink coffee all day (I wish)!

Slacker

Okay so everyone knows I am a complete blog slacker, but this time I have a legitimate reason. My computer won't turn on:( So as I sit and think about all the things I could be posting and all the pics I have to put up, in the back of my mind I am just praying that I haven't lost everything. So everyone please cross your fingers and hope that a new power source does the trick and all my family's pics, since Ethan was a baby, are not lost forever.

Halloween

Holy cow I love Halloween. It is very easily one of our favorite holidays. It probably pulls a very close second to Thanksgiving. Christmas is just too much stress to be fun, Halloween is a no stress holiday. It is all about having fun, and that is one of the things we do best. My mom bought Brynn a costume when she was out of town a couple weeks ago. Then I bought the boy's costumes last Friday. Paxton was asleep when we got home from the store but of course Ethan had to try his on! Seeing him in his costume makes me so excited for Halloween.. I can't wait. Paxton is going to be the Incredible Hulk. I bought him one of those inflatable costumes with the fan, so I can't wait to see him in it! When he woke up from his nap he was crying. I thought he was saying that he wanted "his mom". I was in the middle of making dinner so it was a minute before I could go to him. I laid down on the floor and asked him what was wrong and told him I was right there. But he wasn't saying he wanted his mom, he was saying, " I want my Hulk!" So I had to go get it out of the cupboard and let him hold it! He carried the mask around with him all weekend.

Captain Jack, nice face!

Trying on his 'for reals' Jack Sparrow hat that Grandma got him from Disney Land.

September

I am a total blog slacker. Here are our pics from September. Paxton turned three on the 9th. We had his party on the 14th. I didn't plan any kids activities but the adults had fun playing volleyball! We went to the dunes the weekend after. Friday night was fun, but then Kurt broke his collar bone on Saturday morning. Then Chris broke his on Saturday night. Needless to say Kyle and Jessy didn't do any riding after that. We packed up and left Sunday. Both boys have since has surgery and are healing nicely.

Roller skating

Playing with his guitar in his roller skates!

Making a wish

How many times do I have to tell people to keep drunk people away from cameras!

Kyle's sweet outfit. He had to wear a boot to kick over the bikes on Sunday morning. Turns out, it is hard to kick start a bike in flip flops!

I never take pictures of my kids on their quad so here they are!

A little three wheel motion

Where'd they go?

Oh...they're a little stuck!
