Grounded

Here are some pics of why the boys will not be using their new sleds anytime soon. Like stated below in the Xmas post, we went to bed about 2am on Sat morning (Friday night, whatever). Well BW wanted some water at 7, so while KW was feeling up her cup in the boy's bathroom, PW was walking up the stairs. He was carrying a thing of chalk and wanted KW to open it. He said, "no way, go back to bed". Well when he took him in there he noticed EW was gone too. So he went down to investigate and this is what he found.

Needless to say, he was mad beyond words. He had to come and wake me up to help him even figure out what to do. We sent them back to their room, and stripped it of everything except for the bed and dresser. Surprisingly there wasn't even any yelling. Which if you can remember back to being a kid, it was way scarier to have your parents talk to you sternly then to yell at you. At least that was my case. So they got grounded for a week. We took away all their Xmas presents and they don't get to watch their two cartoons before bedtime. If they behave all week, they are ungrounded on Saturday. If not, then it's another week, they have been so far, let's see if they can make it through the home stretch.

There were marshmallows and frosting all over, in the carpet, on blankets, in the game box lid. They had poured what was left of a gallon of milk into a toy lid that was thankfully plastic. That is moon sand all over the kitchen, completley ruined, me and KW never even got to play with it :( Every Xmas present was out and opened. There were game pieces everywhere. They opened unopened gifts that were for other people. After me and KW finished picking up the mess (around 9), we totally crashed on the couch. When we woke up at 11ish we watched Wall E, then let the boys come out of their room. Yes KW had taken them some toast up for breakfast, so no need to call DCFS!

We have no idea how long they had been up, but it was sometime after 2 and before 7! It's good to be us!
