Kyle's step sister Tana got married on the 6th. Ethan was a ring bearer and Kyle was an usher. They both looked too handsome to be true! It was one of the funnest weddings I have ever been too. Plus there was open bar events the whole weekend, that only added to the coolness! We went up Friday afternoon and stayed in Park City until late Sunday afternoon.
The rehearsal dinner on Friday was a lot of fun. I missed the actual rehearsal because I had a hair appointment. So Kyle and Ethan went to that, then they got to ride the Alpine slide down after. Ethan thought that was way cool. Kyle let him control it the whole way down. The rehearsal dinner was at the bottom of Main at Easy Street. They had little slider burgers with beer and wine flowing freely. The kids played in the fountain, the stairs, and the bocce ball court. After dinner the wedding party headed up to Cicero's to see an 80's rock cover. I don't know who. We went home with the children and Jane and Scott went to the bar! Friday night we stayed at Jane's in Tana's old room!
Saturday we moved our stuff to our condo that Jane got us for FREE. Thank you Jane! We had to be at the resort at 3 to get everything settled and so Kyle could get up the mountain before guests started to arrive. They got married in the Pay Day Meadows. It was beautiful. They had a non traditional ceremony, that fit them perfectly. There was a balloon release and they did not say "I do". Then all the guests got to ride the Alpine slide down! After a few pictures we followed all the guests down the slide as well. Ethan took his own cart because he had done so well on Friday night. That was probably his highlight of the evening. There was a dinner buffet that was way tasty and an open bar the whole night. We danced the night away! It was way fun. We were supposed to meet up with the wedding party after at a bar, but Kyle couldn't leave the bathroom of the condo!
Sunday there was a brunch up in Heber at the Blue Boar Inn or something like that. That was also tasty and they make really spicy, spicy bloody Mary's! There seemed to be sock problems. I forgot to pack Kyle socks so he ended up wearing an extra pair of the boys black socks. They were pretty sweet ankle socks. Then Dave showed up and Tana had forgot to pack him shoes and socks. So he had his dress shoes on and black socks up to his knees. They looked totally normal with his khaki shorts! Then Tyler (Kyle's step brother)showed up in his dress socks from the night before as well. Although they weren't quite as long as Dave's. That was the end of the weekend, we got home Sunday at 4ish and were completely exhausted.
It was a totally fun weekend. Me, Kyle, and the kids all had a great time. Here are some pics from the wedding. There are a ton, but I would look through them all when you get a minute, there are some pretty good ones.
