Race for the Cure

Here are the race for the cure pics. I had a blast. I got to see a couple old friends and their families. I found out that I can NOT run a 5k! Well I can but I won't. I really want to be one of those people who enjoys running, they do it for fun, and they can run for miles and miles, but I just am not :( It was still a blast and I did run most of it. I crossed the finish line at about 46 minutes. I say about because from the start of the race until I actually shuffled through the sum odd 18,000 people and crossed the start line to actually begin running was several minutes and I don't know how many so I have to guesstimate! Here are some pics from race day. It was a beautiful day and I will definitely be doing it again next year.

The day before race day outside of HCI!

Race day, look at my awesome legs!

Part of my team approaching the finish line. Most of my team finished about 40 minutes after me, they were out for a leisurey stroll!

This is Becky, the reason HCI put a team together. She is currently fighting breast cancer. The race was 4 days after her worst chemo treatment but she walked the whole way without one complaint! You go girl!

Some hot nurses (and one girl who may eventually be one!) after all the excitement hanging out saying goodbye!

Sand Hollow

We spent the weekend at Sand Hollow. It was a blast. The kids were well behaved almost the entire weekend! They got to play in the lake, and dig in the dirt. I got to lay around and be lazy! I took a nap in the sand, and actually did a little riding. I don't know why but I am never really up for riding when I am at the sand dunes. It made it way worse that I had never been there before. I hate not knowing where I am going. I did get a pretty good jump session in though! I just really wish I had my own bike and some riding gear. I hate wearing jeans while riding and Kyle's bike burns the shit out of me so I have to wear pants. All in all it was a good weekend. No one got hurt or broke anything!

Get a Toyota stuck and the kids will play for hours. The sand is so soft!

Ethan and Jacob..best buds having a snack!

My kids rarely play well together. This photo is a rare gem.

Not sand hollow but cute none the less. Freshly bathed and ready for bed after a long dirty weekend!

Brynn is a super model!

I love to take pictures of Brynn. I believe that she is just a true natural beauty. Unfortunately it is quite hard to get a picture of her when she isn't making a silly face. Apparently she thinks she is a West or something!

Fresh out of the tub, with a new hair cut! Thanks for getting those bangs out of my eyes!

I think this is the ultimate model pose. I am so sad that her face is leaky in it! She just looks beautiful

This is her scowl. Not very scary, huh?

Being beautiful in Dad's hat. Nice smile!

More playing around with Dad's hat!

Just wanted to have her picture taken!

So is Ethan

All my kids love to pose for the camera. I think a lot of kids are the same way. Here are some recent pics of Ethan cheesing it up for the camera!

Ethan always pulls out the rock star fingers or the peace sign when posing for a photograph. I am actually trying to get a picture of the foam letter stuck to his head!

More posing like a rock star! I am so glad I got him that shirt at Steve and Barry's that says rock star. I think he thinks he truly is one, already.

There, I got it the 'e' on his head!

Apparently Dad isn't the only one excited about that stupid Jeep making some progress!

Boys play dress up too!

Here are a couple pics of my boys being adorable!

Paxton in Libby's wings and he even completes the look with the magic wand!

The boys in their Batman jammies, watching Batman! They hardly ever wear these jammies on separate nights! Paxton has a headband on the back of his head, why? I don't know!

These are some glasses we got from the Dentist. They were originally sunglasses but have since been modified by the boys. Ethan makes us call him Simon when he wears these. From Alvin and the chipmunks!

A little posing as Simon!

Cowboy up!

Every once and a while the kids stumble across our hats we bought in Mexico, and I have to break out the camera. I just love how freakin cute they are!

He is in the middle of saying 'YEE HAW'

Cheesing it up for the camera

This boy may very well become a super model. I love the skater shirt and the cowboy hat, what I nice combo!

I am not exactly sure what Kade is doing in this pic, but it is still cute!

Boys love to Vacuum!

Here are some pics of the boys vacuuming! They love it. I wish they were a little more organized with their vacuuming abilities, but I'm not about to complain. I just hope this keeps up. I don't want them to wise up on me and figure out that they are actually doing chores!
